Body Spoons are are drop forged from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and tempered, and are available in a variety of shapes and crowns. These are special purpose hand tools designed for hammer “dinging” and/or hand prying to move auto body metal work. The medium crown spoon is a long, slender shape just like the 1024 surfacing spoon, great for high ridges or prying. It is used for slapping and surface finishing on fenders, panels and trunk lids.
